Can I just install the 3.55 OFW and then jailbreak it again ?

He maybe wants to go to Rebug or something, so he can go online, I did already have an specific jailbreak too when I bought my jailbroken

anyway...just install the cfw u want over your current cfw

cause i dont know with what FW the guy that sold me installed the jailbreak on the ps3

just install cfw over cfw! It's what i did, JUST make sure u dont have a disc in the ps3 when updating!!!

Can't you write him an E-mail or something? and otherwise, check at the beginning(when the ps3 starts up): it normally says PS3, but it can also say things like: REBUG or ROGERO, the best thing you can do when you're switching CFWs is first going to 3.55 OFW and then to another CFW (its safer)
