(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey everyone, is there anyway to get otherOS back? I'm on Rogero 4.40 v1.03, and I would like to also know if there is a way to get otherOS back, if I could install Windows 7 on it?

*SPECS*
-FAT PS3
-80gb
-Model CECHL01

I'm not sure if Rogero 4.40 supports otherOS and I don't think it does, but Rebug CFW does, but first you have to downgrade to 3.55 to create the otherOS partition and then upgrade to Rebug 4.30.2:

1- Use ANY OtherOS 3.55 CFW/MFW to create the HDD partition for your OtherOS.
2- Download and Install the latest Rebug Toolbox from Rebug's website.
3- Run Rebug Toolbox and go to the 'Utilities' menu.
4- Go to the first option 'Toggle QA Flag' and set it to 'Enabled'.
5- Scroll down to 'Resize VFLASH/NAND Regions' and press 'X' button and then follow the prompts and reboot when asked.
6- Run Rebug Toolbox and go to the 'Utilities' menu.
7- Scroll down to 'Install Petitboot' and press 'X' button and then follow the prompts to install Petitboot from a USB device.
8- Exit Rebug Toolbox and install Rebug 4.30.2 from XMB.

Because The ps3 only has less than 512 ram, different CPU architecture and RISC ( Reduced instruction set computing ) also PPC distro is not in the PS3. The Other OS function was made specifically for Linux and Ubuntu. You can possibly emulate Window 7 but it's gonna be slower than a 1990 computer :p
