I don't know, it's honestly a personal opinion, first CFW I installed on my PS3 was Rogero 4.40 v1.02 (latest version is 1.03 (which is what I have installed currently)) and have had no issue's! I would no need to spoof or anything like that, and I think A little! safer online since it's your actually on the 4.40 FW. It's really up to you.

Added with what jnieves0014 said there is also Rebug tool box, all the current game manger such as Iris and Multiman, BD Reset, Last Game, Some emulators crashes From what I read, They fixed the Ps2 iso boot for Rogero 4.40 ver 1.03 so it doesn't crashes anymore, Show time, they also removed Cinavia protection so no more audio mute on movies you watch on the ps3. It's pretty worth it to update since you can easily downgrade now without worrying something might happen.
