is it possible to install PSN games into my external hard drive ..

I haven't tried this but you could try extracting the pkg using a tool like pkgview to get the source folder. Then put that folder inside a folder called GAMES or GAMEZ on the root of your external hdd. You should be able to play it from multiman that way.
