i sent my ps3 to get downgraded to 3.55
can someone please provide the following
-The right CFW so that i can playonline
-Patch blockers or anything that will prevent me from being banned
-How To Trophy Hack
-How To Get Free DLC And Games
please provide links will add to rep who ever sends me some great shit

There is always a chance of being banned on cfw so there isn't no true way to prevent banning

Ok. I would suggest if your gonna go online. CFW 4.30.2 Rebug. Then all u will have to do is download a package update and you will have access to SEN. Then it dosnt help much but PsNinja will help a little bit if your afraid to get banned. Dont Mod mw3 or bo2. Those are just asking to get you banned. Just stick to the original. Mw2 Cod4 WaW. Your more un likely to get banned this way. And If you just look at the threads theres some that will tell you how to get free DLC and im sure you can find on youtube how to do trophy hack. And no i do not have a link to Rebug 4.30.2. Sorry.Oh. You will also need comgenies or MultiMan. Those are what u use to put your patches on. But i suggest using Black Box and FileZilla.Alot faster .

You can find everything you need via Google or Youtube. I dont have time to surf the web finding you links . Sorry . Oh and make sure the Homebrew aps you download are signed to the same fw your on, on your ps3. Like since your gonna be using Rebug 4.30.2 you would want take for instance comgenies. Youd want comgenies signed for 4.30. And BlackBox signed for 4.30...... i think you get the point.

Will 4.40 work the same as 4.30.2

Install Rebug 4.30.2 by following the guide below:

1- Make NOR/NAND dump (optional):
Install latest version of multiMAN, plug in a FAT32 formatted USB flash drive into the right USB port, launch multiMAN under Games and go to mmOS > Press [O] on any file > Open in HEX viewer > Press [SELECT] > Press [START] > Export GameOS LV2: Select No > Export HV LV1: Select No > Export FLASH: Select Yes

2- Install Rebug 4.30.2 from XMB:
Download Rebug 4.30.2 from Rebug's website, verify the md5 hash, rename the PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP, put it on your FAT32 formatted flash drive in PS3\UPDATE, go to System Update and Update via Storage Media. Make sure there's NO original game disk in the drive and that you DON'T Update via Internet or else you would risk installing OFW higher than 3.55!

3- Install Rebug Update Package 0.1:
Download Rebug_Update_Package_0.1_4.30.x.pkg from Rebug's website, verify the md5 hash, install it from Package Manager, launch it under Games and follow the on screen prompts, the screen will freeze for a while when you press Yes, do NOT force shut down your PS3 at this stage or else you will get a nice and shiny RSOD! Just be patient and wait for it to finish what it's doing, it will reboot if needed when finished. Once the PS3 has rebooted, you can delete Rebug Update Package from your XMB as it is not needed anymore.

4- Enable QA and spoof to 4.40:
Install Rebug Toolbox from Package Manager, launch it under Games, go to Utilities and enable QA. This is to ensure easier and safer downgrading. Now go to Selector and change System Mode to Rebug, this will spoof to 4.40 to prevent accidental updates and allow PSN access. You can also change XMB Operation Mode to Retail and Debug Menu Type to CEX QA to ensure you have the Retail menus instead of the Debug menus which you probably won't need.

He doesn't need comgenie and blackbox, those are outdated apps. mM and Showtime are enough, mM has your Backup Manager, File Manager and FTP Server and Showtime your Media Player.
