Why would you want to do that? To answer your question though it's possible to switch from Eur to US as long you change the Params to the Region that matches the Eboot by switching the Eboot to the region you want. Converting on the other hand I don't know.

You don't need to convert, all games work on all PS3s.

Evertime I try to install a modded EBOOT on the latest patch for a game, like Black Ops 1. When I start the game I get an error and it doesn't start. I install everything correctly and on a clean patch and gamesave but it doesn't work.
