im on rebug 4.21 spoofed to 4.40 and let multiman do some patching after first boot. works flawlessly. mabe you need to install rebug tool box and spoof your system version

I'm on PS3ITA. I don't want to switch CFW just to play Dead island riptide. I'm spoofed 4.40 on ITA but gives me an error on boot up.

make your own eboot for it, it works fine for me. Try fixing permissions in the Settings screen in Multiman, and then try and convert the cex eboot to a DEX eboot, like a debug.

All he needs to do is go to the games settings menu and then make sure he has BD Mirror setting clicked. I also had this game in Rebug 4.30 I was getting black screened, but no longer the first screen you get will be the auto save screen.

If you are getting an error make sure Multiman writes the permissions for you first if you get a screen about the coding of the game then you are going down the right path. CEX and DEX shouldn't matter when playing that game, but I could be wrong.

Unself the eboot, sign it with 4.xx keys. Edit the param.sfo to support 4.21 update then use gaia manager to launch.
