Yes. If your playstation is jailbroken you can. But once you update you lose the option to change patches. But you'll have the what 1.14 mw2 patch on there. Until 1.15 comes out.

The challenge lobbies aren't as advanced as they use to be ever since 4.40 patched bypass (1.11)

Yes.. I think You should of done a bit more research before asking this just saying. Also in order to host a MW2 challenge lobby since the PS3 4.41 update is out you will have to install the Spoofer pkg on Your ps3 and spoof it (download the non rebug one if You are not using rebug) also once you do that you will be able to go online but now You need the patches in order to transfer them onto Your PS3 you will need a FTP server such as multiMAN on Your ps3 and on Your PC as well I recommend FileZilla for PC. Then transfer the patch you wish to the PS3 and You're done. (I'm commenting this assuming you know what to do.. Well atleast the basics)
