(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); HI NGU, i wanted to mod my ps3 because i no longer play online ( literally i stopped going online about 1 months ago) and just play ps3 for single player games, so i thought it would make sense to just mod it since i won't be online. I decided to visit NGU and see how i can get it done, but it all seems confusing to me i guess, never done this before. I visited few threads and found out what information i need so this is what i have.

Model number: CECHA01 ( Very first, big fat!, backwards compatible Ps3 DDD)

Software: 4.40 ( Went into system settings and saw that) ( Will i need to downgrade this first?)

( i don't know if i messed up by going to 4.40 or not cause i cant find alot on it , updated it awhile ago

thats all i have , so if anyone can tell me how i can get started on getting this ps3 moded and start playing free games please let me know on here, would be very helpful. If there is any other information needed please let me know. Thanks NGU
