I have my ps3 in factory service mode after i put the files on my usb, out it on the right side, and power it on, it stays on for only like 5 seconds then shuts off.. i got back on my computer to realize that it didnt dump the nand and did not create a Backuprflash.bin file. I have tried all the steps 4-5 times now, is there an alternate way of going about getting this Backuprflash.bin file ?

You probably haven't edited the advance.cfg file correctly, to make a backuprflash.

It would be easier to make the dump with multiman.

Did you dump the eid_root_key ? If you did go to FileZilla and go to tmp and then take it out to your desktop rename to eid_root_key.bin
And then continue the CEX2DEX tut
