(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey

so i was following this guide You must login or register to view this content. and made sure to do everything right, but after i made sure my dump was valid and patched it, my ps3 got ylod when i put my micro sd back in my ps3 and started it again after putting all the bar on the buttom.

is there any way to fix this with the e3 flasher? when i start my ps3 it goes green, then yellow and then blink red. thanks!

As long as your dump is valid, you can fix it.

What is your model # and the minimum firmware version?

You need to solder the SBE to the tristate of your motherboard to get a clean boot. re-flash with your clean .bin file. Always worked for me

I used that same exact tutorial and the same thing happened to me I have a valid backup and I have the NOR Tristate hooked to the GND on the motherboard and it still turns off after a few seconds. I do have a piece of foam on top of the clip also I have not cleaned off the old thermal paste but I am planning on doing that when I get home and I am also planning on taking the piece of foam and make sure the clip is on there and make sure that the heatsinks and brackets are connecting properly. If anybody can help or explain why I have the YLOD- Brick

Will soldering be the only to make the PS3 start again? Couldn't I do the heat trick with a fan?
