Hey guys just in the middle of my 1st attempt of reballing my ps3 gpu.

I emulated a bga station using the oven stove, glass oven tray, ps3 motherboard support jig 60gb, and a heat gun.

I managed to pull the rsx chip off and gave it and the mobo a desolder.

I'm up to applying the new leaded solder balls but i think i stuffed up big time, heres a couple of images to see what i mean. I used a fine point solder so I think i ended up scratching bits off :/

What do you guys think? Am i Still in the game or not? I'm also having a hard time trying to put solder balls on with the stencil, any tips and help will be appreciated thanks!

If you don't know how to do it or stuck on some parts it's probably better if you let a prefessional to do it for you it's safer and you might get a warrenty

Yeah when I tried to repair my ps3 the second time I completely fucked it up and it was garbage, so be careful what ever you do.

I know that much already but from looking at the pictures I have uploaded I was wondering if anyone here would know if It'll still work if i get the gpu chip back on?

I've ordered a reballed gpu chip off ebay cause i read that reballing a ps3 with glod means that the chip itself is usually dead and needs a whole new one.
