(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so mostly everyone here that is on DEX has followed Derektrotter's tutorial, well im on DEX and want to update to 4.30 Rebug for various reasons and i just had a few questions to ask.

1st I know i have to switch my kernel back to CEX and rewrite target id (can be easily done in toolbox)
but what i was wondering is since i made my CEX and DEX flash on 4.21 will it matter if i update to 4.30 and then try to rewrite kernel and change target id with the flashes i made on 4.21 or do i need to go on 4.30 then dump my flashes again and convert then one from 4.30 to DEX or like i said can i just the one from 4.21?
any help will be appreciated (im not a noob, just dont wanna brick "again" so you dont have to tell me stuff in noob language lol)

Yes it matters, you will brick if you use the 4.21 flash on 4.30. Just dump your flash and convert again.

should i go into rebug toolbox and change everything back to CEX first like the lv2 kernel and rewrite the target id back to 84, also there are like those 3 options that rebug also has in the toolbox system mode: rebug, xmb operation mode: debug, and debug menu type: DEX i know the 1st to options arent very important but the last one Debug menu type: DEX do i change it back to CEX QA before or after i swap lv2 kernel and rewrite target id
