ok go to recovery menu even if it does blue screen, plug in your controller then press down on the d pad 5 time then wait a second then press start and select at the same time then wait it should up (put a different CFW on your usb PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP) then just give it some time and it should load up a different CFW fixing your problem if that doesnt work take out your hard drive and put it in a different ps3 (this will make the hdd format) then put the hard drive back into your CFW ps3 and try to boot again

I was nerves bout trying to format in my other ps3 cause that's on ofw and I have no clue what sonys pumping in them and didn't want to tinker with that 1. first thing that came to mind when this happened was OMG SONY HOW'Awesome face THEY KNOW! lol this ps is already banned Winky Winky I only did this to clean it up and start over fresh and this is the thanx I get from her. lol thanx a lot guys I will try that alt ps3 format. still no PC program to access ps3 hdd? you know like winhiip for ps2 hdd?

no its not the wire, I did try my component wires witch run original ps video output but still blue to black, I put the original 60gb hdd in it and everything works fine, swap back to 500gb and its blue again.

OK then. Put the 60GB back in, make sure QA is enabled and re-install Rogero 3.55 v3.7 to make sure you dehashed the downgrader CFW.

Then, format your 500GB HDD on your laptop, put it in the PS3 and re-install Rogero 3.55 v3.7 when it asks you to re-install System Software.

Once on Rogero 3.55 v3.7 and the 500GB HDD, install the CFW that you want. Which CFW are you planning to install and why did you downgrade first place?

No don't defrag, just format it from Disk Management if you right click Computer > Manage

Maybe if you switch over to Rebug such things won't happen anymore. Because Rebug CFW can be downgraded without having to use a downgrader PUP, you just enable QA and install Rebug 3.55.4 from XMB.
