which i have the cex and dex on the usb in right port. and they are named correctly. but this shows up after i hit ok on that screen "Flashing the whole NOR is disabled. Name your dump properly to enable FLASHING ONLY THE EIDO SECTION.
Input [*.EIDO.NORBIN] must be 16MB and also be from YOUR console. Only 192 bytes will be written to flash (EIDO)

please help me get this to work.

did you copy and paste them to your usb?
maybe try to copy them to your usb from folder options it does help sometimes

Are they on the root of your usb? I had the same issue when converting back to CEX, but it was because I placed them inside a folder by accident, double check that and post back!

firstly did you get your EID Root Key from cfw 3.55?

yeah after i changed there names I put them in root. No folders. So I am lost.

Sorry you also need to have both Flash on the root, so if your on CEX then it will convert to DEX, and if you repeat this while on DEX it will convert to CEX.

copy them from your computer to usb edit: copy to folder then choose your usb?
make sure you still have unticked hide extensions for known file types
in case there's any extra letters on the end.
and tell what message you get

I know that but I keep getting those messages when i hit the butten even once.

you need to have the eeid root from cfw 3.55 kmeaw before you can upgrade to 4.21rebug and use c2d.exe to convert the eid and nor to a dex nor.

eeid are Unique for each console, u can downgrade with rebug 3.55 downgrader 999 then use the eeid dumper comes as pkg file it will dump the eid into a Tmp folder on ur ps3 hard drive and then copy it into a USB hard drive then install rebug 4.21 and follow DEREKTROTTER tut.

so 999 downgrade. than try to to put kmeaw over the 3.55.4? or posibly sfm downgrade to update to kmeaw 3.55 and start over

otherwise 3.55.4 will be okay just get it on usb from 3.55.4 before going back to 4.30.2?
