Basically RTM/RTE, real time modding/real time editting is the main reason most people switch over but it has more uses if your a developer, but sound's to me you would just be a normal user so yea, RTM/RTE but that doesn't mean it's easy either lol

thanks for the reply bro all im trying to do is sitck another console id on my banned ps3 instead of keep using the patcher everytime i turn it on other then that i might use the other things later on

No prob just use PSID-Patcher, it's a window's program that rewrite's the flash with the new ID however I really wouldn't suggest permanently changing it cause then you will just get it banned again, the PS3 patcher is great because it spoofs it and sony won't be able to ban your CID because it's just random letter and numbers, however if you were to perm change the CID, then I would still recommend you use the PS3 patcher so your PS3 has a spoofed CID and you don't get the second one banned.

well it looks like im stuck to that because i just bricked my fat ps3 i brought it back from the dead it was on ofw 3.50 and from there i tryed to put rebug 4.41 lite on it and it got stuck in a update loop and i bricked it like a dick i couldnt even get the console id
