I'm trying to get the Riptide online Mod Menu to work but, I can't find the Data0.pak file to change in the game.This is what i did..1st I bought Dead Island Riptide from the PS store and down loaded it onto my 4.41 ofw. Then i data transferred to my 3.55 ps3 running on Rebug 4.30.2 CEX spoofed to 4.41 ...(I AM NOT ON DEX) .Then i loaded up Comgenie's Awesome File Manger ..then I went into the game to find the Data0.pak file .NPUB31145->USRDIR->I->?????......there no Data0.pak ...there are only these files...... Data0.edat 8MB, Data1.pak 61MB, DataDe.pak 1MB, DataEn.pak 1MB, DataEs.pak 1MB, DataFr.pak 1MB.......so has anyone else had this problem or has i solution to fix it? thanks for any help

Well that's because it isn't a backup, you purchased it from PSN.

OK ,so i deleted riptide and log on to PSN and download the game on my cfw PS3 this time..Now using Rebug ToolBox and FileZilla i went into dev_hdd0->game->NPUB31145->USRDIR->I->..... and guess what NO Data0.pak file...........???....What the F@%k!!!!....I"m sorry but i call bullshit on this ..I had no problems Modding this game "FROM A BACKUP COPY" but i'm sorry the is not Data0.pak file in the "DOWNLOADED COPY " and if i'm wrong , MY BAD..but please someone try this and tell me what the hell is going on..THIS IS KILLING ME......... F@%K...............

Was reading through this and noticed you were having the same problem I had, I was f***ing around with some stuff and found you can combine the data1.pak and data0.pak

Install Dead island Riptide DEV_MENU::

Step 1: Make backups of both data1.pak & data0.pak and keep them somewhere safe in case of user error.

Step 2: Download a decryping/extracting software such as WinRAR or winzip ill be using WinRAR.

Step 3: Change the extention of data1.pak to data1.rar & do the same to data0.pak.

Step 4: Open them both up and copy everything from data0.rar into data1.rar, you should then still have the following files ("data, DeadlyCobraXXX Mod - V 1.1.txt"). The reason that nothing besides the .txt is there is cause the to data folders were combined automatically.

Step 5: Close out of both rar files and revert data1.rar back to data1.pak you can do this simply by making a new winrar archive drag "data1.rar" into the newly created archive and change the extention from .rar to .pak then reextract it by dragging it to your desktop/usb thumbdrive.

Step 6: Navigate to the dir ("/dev_hdd0/game/NPUB31145/USRDIR/DI") and place the new data1.pak in there...copy and replace if necessary.

Step 7: Start the game and enjoy.

In case of the survivor pack error::

Step 1: Download psnstuff 3.00 from You must login or register to view this content..

Step 2: Search dead island and download the ("Survivor pack.pkg") and install it on your ps3.

Step 3: Open up a ftp/file manager such as multiman or blackbox.

Step 4: Navigate to ("/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS31052/USRDIR/") and copy the edat file to the dir ("/dev_hdd0/game/NPUB31145/USRDIR/") and paste in there.

Step 5: Start the game and enjoy.
