Seriously, make sure that your clip is flush to the board and tape foam, coins, etc. on top of clip to ensure that there is even and constant pressure on it.

Then you may need to clean the clip/pins on chip with alcohol. That is what finally made my connection work properly.

Ok I'll try tomorrow and see if it works.
