(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys ^_^

Just a quick question because I'm really not sure if it's possible. I was wondering if I can dehash my PS3 Rogero 4.30 v2.05? What are the benefits of dehashing by the way?

Thanks guys! Any help would be greatly appreciated ^_^

Why would you wanna dehash it? Did you downgrade it with a hardware flasher?

You would only need to dehash if you downgraded with a hardware flasher because their would be a mismatch between the syscon and coreos software versions.

Oh I see. I thought that dehashing would reset my PS3 to the way it was. It was already on Rogero 4.30 when I first bought this and then I decided to change the HDD to 1tb and upgraded it to Rogero 4.40 immediately after the format and for some reason, some of my games (God of War 3, God of War Ascension and Little big planet) won't work anymore. It would just load, turn to black screen then go back to XMB. I'm really desperate about this :(

Thank you soooo much for replying by the way Smile

No, dehashing will not reset your PS3 to the way it was.

Upgrading your CFW is highly unlikely the cause of your black screen games.

Try turning on BD Mirror and start the games from any original disk in the drive after mounting them through mM.

Also, I would recommend upgrading to Rebug 4.41.2.

I'm so sorry for being such a noob but when you say "start the games from any original disk in the drive after mounting them through mM" do you mean inserting the disc where the game is and using multiman to boot the disc?

I currently have the games both in my internal and external drives. Prior to upgrading, my games worked fine so I just assumed it had something to do with the CFW or if not the multiman version. :(

No, it means put any original game disk in the drive, mount your game from internal or external, the original game disk that you inserted will change to your mounted game, start your game from this changed disk.

Your Multiman game settings are stored on your hard drive so when you replaced it you lost those settings. You will have to re-check the BD-mirror option (or hold down SELECT and press X when loading game through multiman) on the games that give you a black screen to make them work again. I doesn't matter what game you put in your console when using multiman, it will still load whatever you choose to play in multiman.

Ooohh I see. Now that you mention it, there was an original MVC 3 disc inside the ps3 when I first bought it. I think my game problems happened right after I took that disc off! OMG! Thanks soooo much ^_^ I'll try it soon then

Not unless you convert to DEX and emulate your BD Drive on a USB flash drive.

Oh. It sounds doable and I'm currently looking on a guide on how to do just that with the CEX2DEX thingy. I think I understand Mm better now! You're a saint! Thank you! I'm betting that it's safer to just do it with the BD mirror thing. ^_^
