I want sell my ps3 slim.

I was on OFW, not on CFW.

I played online on OFW with my accounts and collected some trophies.

It is a ps3 system u can downgrade and installing CFW, its an older slim.


I heared that sony bann cfw ps3 and ALL ACCOUNTS EVER BEEN ON THIS CONSOLE.

My question now:

If I sell my ps3 now and the buyer install CFW on it, is my account in danger then?

because my account was on this console? (but on OFW)?

that would be horrible. so many innocent people could get banned then and u couldnt sell or buy used ps3 systems...

You don't get al your accounts banned on cfw ONLY if they are activated to it.
I would know I have 4 cfw ps3's and have gotten banned on each one with only ONE account ban and having at least 20 other ac****s on there

then ask some trophy sellers here on NGU who got banned. all their customers got banned, too.

if sony bann a cfw ps3 then they also bann all accounts which were online on this CFW PS3.

His question is, if there is still a danger for accounts after he updated a CFW ps3 to OFW and then go online. maybe sony can see in the history that this was a cfw ps3. I dont know.

its also important to know for buying and selling used PS3 systems.

If I buy a used OFW PS3 on ebay, and maybe this ps3 was on CFW in the past, is my account in danger then?
If I update my CFW PS3 to OFW, are the new accounts on OFW in danger than, because there WAS a CFW on this system?
