My question is do I need to use the 999 downgrader if my PS3 was already QA flagged before it was updated to 4.30.2? If the answer is no I do not; the only problem is, I do not know if it was QAd before as it was updated before I bought it, it says it's QAd in Rebug Toolbox but I'm not sure if it was on before. Also is there anyway to get my eid root key on 4.30 like resigning the PKG ect.

you can enable qa flag in rebug toolbox on 4.xx CFW now thanks to rebug, so just go to rebug toolbox and enable qa flag then just install any 3.55 CFW, and no you cant resign the pkg to get the eid from 4.30 dumping the eid root key can only be done on 3.55

If it says QA is enabled in the Rebug Toolbox, this means it's enabled. If it's not enabled, just enable it and install Rebug 3.55.4 from XMB.

No need for the 999 downgrader.
