I'm on 4.21 rebug DEX, I transfer back to CEX to download and install a map pack, and it says I need to update (it never said this when I was on DEX). So I go back to DEX thinking that it should be gone again, but it's not, it still says I need to update. So I try to spoof on DEX with the spoofer from rebug, well the piece of shit doesn't even load, it just goes black screen and says game quit or some shit. So I tried again with a different rebug spoofer, it says agree here and here, ok. Now says," you may now reboot ps3". It's reboots and nothing happens, I look in at the firmware to see if it spoofed it, nothing. So what should I do here? Should I do a quick restore/format or what?


Problem Solved!

You can't use the REBUG spoofer on REBUG FW, you have to install the .2 update package, which you can get from here; You must login or register to view this content. then go into rebug toolbox and change your PS3 to REBUG mode and your all set! Post back if your still having issues.
