Ive installed 3.55 OFW < CFW and I FORGOT TO ENABLE QA
and installed 4.41 REBUG

However, ive encountered the problem that my INSTALLED PKG's wont run, sends me to a BLACK SCREEN
i did some research and found that its due to a bad logic board, cause, the blue light comes on for ps3, just dont recongnize disc, i think... I took it out my other ps3, anyways, I need a BLUE RAY BYPASS!
Im hoping someone could help. or any advice would be nice.

Also is there a way for me to Downgrade, since i didnt physically enable QA?
I dont have a Flasher...

You Enable QA Flag on the CFW, since your on REBUG you can use REBUG to do so. If you don;t have the toolbox you can download it from here; You must login or register to view this content. ... You can use it on REBUG 4.41.2 LITE but it will give you a msg when you first start it, don't wprry about that, just go scroll to the right and enable QA Flag. Let me know if you still need some help.

I updated to REBUG 4.41.2 LITE last night, however, I never had a problem INSTALLING them, for some reason, I had a PROBLEM running them! When i start it up, It Goes to a black Screen, as if its loading, and Just stays there, and i have to Force the PS3 off.

I did some Research like i said, and i think i either have a bad logic board, or my Blu Ray isnt being Recongnized, even though, i get the blue light, sayin it sees the blu ray.

Finally, in my conclusion, I need someone to Edit 4.41.2 Lite Rebug, and Add Blu Ray Bypass. ive heard of people doing it, i just dont know how to. Any Suggestions?

I'm not sure about that sorry. I don't think it would be possible, if anything contact rebug at their website, rebug.me, and see if they can do it for you.

you can use mfw builder and put the nobd check..buts its a big risk to brick your console if you dont know how this tool work or to set it..

Okay, i have used Rogero ANY CFW to 3.55 .PUP, and im now back on 3.55. My thing is. Is, It see's my Bluray player. When i take it out, it WILL NOT update. SO WHY ARE MY .PKG's not LOADING/RUNNING... Black Screen... ERR!
Note: I only have one working USB port on the ps3.(Left one) How do i get into Factory Service Mode, and GET OUT with one USB,
I cant use the Factory Sevice Mode V2 .pkg(Black Screen) I think i need to Remarry.the logic board and bluray Also, im using my OFW bluray, will i be able to put it back in my ofw, and work? I tried using Eclipes and i couldnt get it to start. or Connect.
Suggestions?


Ive never heard or tried to use the tool. much less know how it works or to set it up, maybe you know of a TuT?

You can use the old method of getting into recovery menuby using the power button however you would need the right usb to work, so thats out of the question. As for the .pkg files I do not know sorry, but you would have to remarry the bluray drive to your PS3 if your using another one from a different PS3. Ans if your already on 3.55 you should be able to update to higher CFW from the XMB even with the usb on the left side.

if you want to put a new driver board you need to marry it with the motherboard..and this works only on 3.41..and you must be on fsm mode..if you cant use the pkg then you need a dongle..but wich usb port is working??maybe your wifi board is broken to..i know some tuts..if i found the side i will post that on this thread..

As long as i have the bluray hooked up, i can Update/Downgrade fine. I really need to figure out the Blackscreen problem.

Well, My OFW is on 4.41, its a CECH-E01, The CFW 3.55 is a CECH-H01, they have different USB. Im having problems with the CFW ps3, 2 USB slots, Only Left side works. Can i get in and out of FSM? Couldnt i downgrade to a lower FW? if needed? How would i find, and set up a dongle, never done it before. Also. I tried using wireless, and it scanned and connected to my WIFI.

His right usb doesnt work, which is a problem...
