take disc and hard drive out
turn ps3 on
then turn ps3 off
and put rebug 4.41 lite on usb
then try to update to that
if that doesnt work leave hard drive out and try to update via usb without the hard drive in

Could I Just Update To 3.55 KMEAW? Or Do I Have To Go To 4.41 Lite?

if it says you need to install 4.41 then you need to install a 4.41 CFW
