(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently did a full PS3 restore on my dex and now I can't connect to my internet via wired or wireless.

I get an error "Attempt to obtain IP address timed out" regardless if I'm connected via ethernet or wireless. My other normal PS3 works fines and so does my laptop etc.

This has nothing to do with me being on DEX as before the restore I could connect fine, now I can't.

If I set a static IP i don't get this problem except I get a DNS error.

Anyone know what the problem is as I've never encountered such as thing. If there isn't a solution I don't mind as I have another JB PS3.

Things I've tried:

Restarting Router
Reseting Router
Removing WPA Key
Disabling Firewall
Direct connection
Wireless Connection
Static IP
Port Fowarding

Try go into safe mode, and select Restore Default settings.

Reinstall your firmware, and go default factory settings.

Maybe try checking, Network Settings for Debug: Check if its on single setting

iv had this problem many times on my dex and ofw i just restart me modem and all that and then wait couple hours and it works again but idk how it is for you but that what i do

go over to debug settings and check the np enviroment mine change to invalid after i restored my ps3 then just change back to np

they are many solutions and many points to get this problem again..if you need help ask me on skype..

You need to turn off your router and make sure all wifi items are off turn on your ps3 then restart router and connect

i need help when im doing wireless it works but when i do wired it says failed to obtain ip ??
