you dont need the sata station to downgrade..you can downgrade without hdd inside till the point to install the cfw..only for downgrade (your flash) install the e3 flasher..they are many brick versions..for unbrick a full brick you need to solver and for semi brick you can use a dongle with jig firmware to joiin fsm..

I want to sync hacked trophies on ofw then downgrade to 3.55 and repeat that process I thought u needed sata station so you dont need to keep opening the PS3.

sata station is only good for dual booting..but with dualboot you cant transfare the hacked/modded trophys from cfw to ofw..you need the same hdd on ofw..
