(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,
i bought a fat 60gb ps3 from ebay and the seller wrote in the artikel description that this ps3 has ylod.
So i thought, lets fix the ylod....
but sadly its no ylod.
if i touch the power button, it boots. but now screen appears and only the green.
try to connect an ps3 conntroller with wire, but no response, not even a changing light.
i can turn the console Off and On with the powerbutton and the eject button works also.
i try to reset the video settings but nothing happened, i tried to enter the security mode, the reboot works and the 2 beeps also but nothing on the screen again.
I don't know if its a bricked console or just a hardware issue.
i disassemble the ps3 and put some new thermal grease on the rsx chip and also put some more preasure at the chip (with coins).
that doesnt fix my problem, so i think its a software issue.
Changing the HDD with another original 60gb HDD doesn't has any effect.
No changes with oven fix.

can i bring my ps3 somehow back to live?

i read something about the development usb dongle AT90USB162 and the teensy hex file. would that be a solution?

I'm having the same issue! If anyone can figure out how to fix this, I'll love them forever!
