but is there any difference between the CEX version and DEX versions?

Specifically 4.30.2 REBUG REX and 4.30.2 REBUG D-REX

i think all are ok but the XMB Menu i am not sure of....

because i have a Modded XMB Menu i want 2 install but it was based of REBUG 4.30.2 REX so is there any difference in XMB menu 2 the DEX version??? as in the whole thing retail, DEBUG, DEX, CEX QA??? they all the same in dex???

i dont think there is, because somone relese a XMB Wave mod on psxscene. and it worked on my DEX so it should work on any consle regardless.

they are different..not all rcos and xmls but if you mod one of them wrong you will get a software brick and cant join to xmb or some icons/options give you a freez if you click on them..but cooldboot and wave design are all time the same..but if you use a wrong offsets on wave you will get a sofware brick to..
