First thing you need to do is Download these Files.

Install E3 Flasher to the PlayStation3.

Switches (U = UP, D = DOWN)

[D-D-U-U-U-U] <---Change switches to this Position

- Update E3 Flasher -- (Done=8 LEDs turn on at Once) File: update.bin

Press RED button under eSata Cable on TF board.

[D-D-U-D-D-D] <---Change switches to this Position

Press RED button under eSata Cable on TF board.

- Back up NOR flash--Press Start (Done= 8Leds Light, (1By1))

Take Micro SD card and copy the backed up file, Check it aswell.

Save file onto Computer.

Place e3_downgrader.bin into Micro SD

Take the Micro SD card and put it back onto the TF board.

Press Red Button under eSata cable.

Press Red Button under eSata cable.

-- Install e3 Downgrader--Press Start (8Leds Light (1by1)) File: E3_downgrader.bin

- Place bkpps3.bin in Nor Patcher...

-Take files and Place onto Micro SD card (RENAME to bkpps3.bin, if not already)

Press Red button Under Esata Cable.

[D-D-D-D-D-D] <---Change switches to this Position

press Red button under Esata Cable

Press Start (Done=8Leds Light((1by1)

Once Complete, TURN OFF console though the XMB menu.

Remove E3flasher from Playstation and Rebuild it back together.

(WARNING: ONCE you turn on the console, DO NOT TURN IT OFF... you will get ylod and will then have to go into Flash Fun mode.)

Install Rogero_355_downgrader_RSOD.PUP

Once update it complete, Place (toggle_qa.pkg) in the root of your PS3

-Install PKG file Toggle_QA,

Run the Program, If you here 3 Beeps, your Console is QA flagged.

Then, Place Rebug 3.55.4 999 Downgrader into USB (USB: PS3/UPDATE/Put File HERE)

Install that Update, after you install that update.. you can install any update you like.

i have the same problem i couldnt install anycfw or 3.55

ahhh you bricked your ps3, connect the e3 flasher with a wire and solder, there is a tutorial on that patch it with your original ps3 dump to unbrick it

Okay cheers dude. I was thinking that I may have bricked it as it was acting just like a YLOD :/ but... I don't understand why the patched BIOS bricked it. Bit strange I think. So... What programming should I use if the patched BIOS is bad? And is there a link you can send me in a PM please?

dump the nor many times, then compare dumps if all are same then you should be getting good dumps. then use a tool like flowrebuilder to split the files into

metldr
bootloader_0
bootloader_1
cCSD
cISD
creserved_0
cvtrm
eEID
trvk_pkg
trvk_prg
ros(folder)

the files are unique to your console except the ros folder. within it will be two other folders, one of the current firmware and one of the previous firmware. these are the files that are probably at fault

these files can be extracted from the cfw pup files using something like mfwbuilder and then placed back into the ros folder, then you can use the tool (flowrebuilder) to put the files back into the dump to flash back with the e3.

the other files are your console id's config and keys etc. specific to the console.

check the dumps you are getting in a verification tool to make sure they are good.
