After I installed Dex I downloaded a spoofer for 4.46 thinking I'd be able to get online with that... Anyway, the spoof crashed my PS3 mid-installing and I had to force shut down the PS3. I booted the PS3 Back up and hot nothing but a blank screen issue. I searched a guide on the Internet how to fix blank screen issue but it necer seemed to work, I tried to boot it up in "Safe Mode" and it appeared in safe mode, however, I had to install a firmware of 2.50 above. I tried all different updates putting all files in correct folders and stuff but I kept getting the data us corrupted along side with an error code. I then turned off the PS3 and returned earlier that day to put another update on, however, that time my ps3 froze when I clicked "System Update". I figured that when I click "Restart System" or "System Update" my PS3 would crash, so I searched forums and this guy had the same problem, he said he had to rebuild the database of his PS3, I'm now rebuilding mine and its taking forever & I'm pretty sure no effect is happening. Pkease if you know how yo resolve the issue reply or at least tell me that it's dead so I can stop wasting my time on the junk or will I need new hard drive?
