Is your model number 2001a or 2501a?
You confused by your original post. Now is your NOR chip configuration horizontal? Is your motherboard a DYN-001?

If the nor chip is situated like this then you are gonna go through a hard time to get a valid dump.

Do not proceed to flash without first verifying the dump. Trust me man I've done this board but took me awhile. It is possible.

I did it with some pliers and scissors. Also you might wanna leave the metal casing off the actual E3 Flasher, just place a sheet of paper underneath so the bottom part wont touch metal from the PS3. If you leave it on or add it on the flasher, it wont go in/fit through the HDD port at all.
