I recently sold my 2 DEX PS3s, and all i had left was a ps3 slim 250 gb on 4.46 ofw, so i was thinkin, why not downgrade it.
So i purchased a new e3 flasher limited edition, and once i got it i chcked if it was a real one and it was.
Now after opening and closing down ps3 i cant make a backup,
I cant even update the e3, when i try to make a backup, i get error 01000000 sd cannot be read or missing or cannot read nor chip one, the strange thing is, i donthave a log file on my sd, but my sd card works perfect on the pc...
Ps, my clip is simply dropping of the NOR even after the click.... Iput some pennies on it but that didnt work, cant make a backup, i opened up my ps3 for like 20 times now and now im kinda desperate lol!
If you guys want, i can post my downgrade setup howmi try to do it now.

this is a brand new e3 flasher, i just tried my friends one and it doesnt seem to work either...
i renamed the update to update.bin even when i press reset nothing happens untill i set the buttons to backup mode, then the blue lights appear

its definitly the micro sd crad/slot..this is happend with many pplz..

i guess its the slot on the e3..... i saw one was bended up a lil bit.
what do i do now lol

they need good connect it..they are 8 poles..they must have a good connect..

if i press hard on the sd card, it connects all the poles without problems but i keep getting sd card error and or cannot read nor.
still no log file on sd

reset the e3 flasher via pressing the red button on the middle of the e3 board..its need power on..then use a update with 12.08 update bin..can download it from e3 site..and try again..if you can use a another sd card..a smaller one..

I had the same problem as u i kept resetting my e3 flasher and tapping start. Also i pushed my thumb on the sf card slot till it updated and it did.

Sounds like its your PS3 nor ship apply abit of alcohol on it and the e3 flasher to get a good connection.
