it does not say "rogero" when i start up my ps3 anymore. and everytime i try to update. it says "data is corrupted. please help!

Why would he wanna do that? Yeah, man don't do that.

First, do you still see the "install packages" or run homebrew? that is a given to see if it still jailbroken
Second, have you tried to update through safe/recovery mode?
Third, have you QA flag your ps3? let me know on this one
Fourh, which CFW are you tryin to update to?

use the latest rogerO 3.55 downgrader and install over recovery menu..

If you downgraded with the rogero you need to update to a 3.55 CFW first (Kmeaw for example) I had the same problem. Then go to any other firmware from there
