Thank you. When I click on System Settings, it shows I have version 4.40. So that's fine right?

I was under the impression that I needed some sort of spoofer to show that I have 4.46 (the latest fw?). I thought that Sony scan systems and flag the ones that are not 4.46? Or I don't need to worry about that? This PS3 has never been taken online before, first time... so I'm pretty sure it's not banned.
