Post: About Multiman and Target Finder
08-28-2013, 03:22 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im having issues updating games through multiman. When i start the game normally either it says updates found but to make sure something about making sure a USB is attached for backup files, OR it exits out tp xmb without saying anything. When I hit update it just says no updates found. I'm using the latest build of multiman.

Next problem is target finder. I can see my PS3, it just will not connect to it. Later today I will screen shot the error. My debug settings are correct as to what I have found here doing searches.

I am on rebug 4.21. I can connect to PSN no problem.

Thanks for your help in advance. If this is in the wrong forum, please mods do what you need to do to get it where it should be.

first check under network settings to make sure the ps3 has a ip address
if the ip address isnt the same as the one in the target manager then delete the target and rescan
if that doesnt work Make sure under debug setting it say's system software mode also go to rebug tool box and do this go to the tab sector system mode REBUG XMB operation mode DEBUG Debug Menu Type DEX then reboot ps3 once that is done you go to debug settings under normal XMB settings look for something called release check mode. and make sure it says Development mode also look for "network settings for Debug" and set it to single settings. do a final reboot and you should be able to connect

if you wireless then use a tut for target manager over wifi..if you are wired then check you debug setting on ps3..must look like this
On the PS3 XMB
Debug Settings > Release Check Mode > Development Mode
Debug Settings > Boot Mode > System Software Mode
Debug Settings > Network Settings for Debug > Single Setting
Reboot PS3

On the PC
After getting connected on the target manager, reset it to System Software Mode.
Check on the Console Output if it booted to System Software Mode.
Open Debugger.

Not sure what the issue was but I switched to rebug 4.30 and was able to connect. Thanks both of you for your help.
