I purchased this from ModChipCentral which is known to be a legit place to purchase such things. So I've purchased an E3 flasher now, which I've had for 2 months and it don't seem to work. Please watch the video below to see my problem and give me the solution to this thanks.

Errors I seem to have: 2 blue lights trying to make dumps or 3 lights. :(

The clip is seated properly with 2 pennies & duck tape and extra sponge underneath to support it.

well without actually being there to actually look at it, its hard to determine the problem. Check to make sure everything is right and is all good. And I would email E3 about this, they should be able to help you more than us since their the ones that made it.

I just found out my clip ripped just a little line and yes I emailed E3 they said they can replace it but I'm all the way in England and their in canada. Also now since I found out the clip ripped a little pinch they may not accept it.

Yeah sure thing I won't but won't they check before hand? I guess I'll try my luck.

What process is the one your trying to do with the switches 126 down and 345 up?
And when you say "Errors I seem to have: 2 blue lights trying to make dumps or 3 lights"
That is the incorrect setup for the switches to make a dump. Should be all down except the third one.

I'm assuming that your clip is not installed properly. I would re-seat it and try again. I would get some weird blinking when I don't have it installed properly. Also, looking at the video, no point of you pushing in the e3 flasher to hdd port.

I really can't see the point of having the e3 flasher in the HDD port. Only reason why you would be doing that is because you gonna have the HDD in the Esata station connected with the Esata cable through the flasher. From the video, you dont have it connected.
The e3 flasher gets its power from the chip.
I know some people take off the HDD and don't use it and wait until the PS3 give off the error before starting the E3 flasher.
I use it so I can make sure the PS3 boots up properly and wait until the XMB/or HDD activity light stop blinking before I start the backup/dump process.
You just power on the PS3 and then click start on the e3 flasher, I would wait man =P

Something like this: You must login or register to view this content.
You see that HDD is connected in its port and the e3 flasher is on top of it.

This one shows the backup process. with all switch down and the third one UP

Okay I was trying to make a dump, secondly the way that pic is setup with the E3 flasher not all the models can do that only a few. The way mine is setup is the best way I can do for my model design.

Well the switch are wrong. All down the third UP. YOu have a DYN-001 motherboard?
Here is a video that shows you how to install the clip properly if you wanna put the E3 flasher in the HDD bay.
