What process is the one your trying to do with the switches 126 down and 345 up?
And when you say "Errors I seem to have: 2 blue lights trying to make dumps or 3 lights"
That is the incorrect setup for the switches to make a dump. Should be all down except the third one.
I'm assuming that your clip is not installed properly. I would re-seat it and try again. I would get some weird blinking when I don't have it installed properly. Also, looking at the video, no point of you pushing in the e3 flasher to hdd port.
I really can't see the point of having the e3 flasher in the HDD port. Only reason why you would be doing that is because you gonna have the HDD in the Esata station connected with the Esata cable through the flasher. From the video, you dont have it connected.
The e3 flasher gets its power from the chip.
I know some people take off the HDD and don't use it and wait until the PS3 give off the error before starting the E3 flasher.
I use it so I can make sure the PS3 boots up properly and wait until the XMB/or HDD activity light stop blinking before I start the backup/dump process.
You just power on the PS3 and then click start on the e3 flasher, I would wait man =P
Something like this:

You see that HDD is connected in its port and the e3 flasher is on top of it.
This one shows the backup process. with all switch down and the third one UP
