I'm going to install the above firmware onto my PS3 which is on 4.30.2 REX but in DEX mode, I just want to know if I should switch back to CEX before installing maybe to avoid a brick or something.

I just want a simple yes or no answer to whether I can install it over DEX.

EDIT: Just seen a 4.46.1 D-REX version. Question how do I switch back to CEX while on it.

i just went back to cex and updated it over 4.30.2 and redid openssl and all that shit , no problems really easy btw

install drex over 4.30 rex (dex mode)..you can switch back to cex everytime like on rex version
