Post: Ps3 rebug problem

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, I'm experiencing problems with my PS3 SLIM (it's on REBUG 4.30.2). My ps3 was not used for over 3months; I was anticipating Grand Theft Auto 5, and i didn't see a need to use my PS3 until that game comes out... So, little over a week age, I've decided to turn it on, and play some Kingdom Hearts. But guess what? My REBUG settings disappeared, my '.pkg' files would not run (unless re-installed and re-launched). It was pernicious, it put me in a fat turmoil!

A few days later, I've decided to re-install the CFW. What i did was:
1. I've converted my PS3 back to CEX (using the toolbox).
2. I'm not quite sure, but i think I might have disabled QA.
3. I've inserted my pendrive into slot one (it had REBUG 4.30.2 on it).

And that's where real trouble began. While the software was updating, my ps3 gave me an error. (8002f147), that's the error i kept getting. My ps3 would keep telling me to update, and i was unable to go to my XBM, as the ps3 would just keep trying to update... So, i've decided to use a different HDD. Soon after switching HDD's, I run into more trouble... Here is what keep happening now:

2.

3.

4.

Splendid, i don't think i will be able to play GTA on launch :// Guys, is there a way to fix this? Please help!

EDIT-
Thanks to Danny, I'm now able to boot. However, I'm stuck on ROGERO DOWNGRADER. I can't update to any CFW, or even OFW. When trying to install Rogero 3.55, i get an error saying ''The update data is corrupted. 8002f169 >.< HELP!!!

try toggling qa in the rebug toolbox before doing any updating / downgrading.

instead of just booting the ps3, try putting it into safe mode and installing your cfw that way.

ahh was just wondering as it use to be a common issue for ps3, the ps3 would update and then try patching the blu-ray, obviously if your blu-ray is broke the system couldnt patch it therefore causing a loop.
