I am wonder how do I get on DEX????
My plan is to get an OFW Ps3 and downgrade to 3.55. Could I just install an DEX CFW update or do I have to do a long process?

Nope, you cannot install DEX CFW and expect to be on DEX. You need to convert your CEX to DEX.

what you wanna do is download from the rebug.me website debug CFW 4.21.2 rex and update to this firmware then once you've updated I'm not sure if i did or not but check and if not get the debug toolbox downloaded and install this on the ps3 then you will need to follow a tut cex to dex , but quick run down you need to get your CEX dump tut will show you how then you put it on your computer then once on your pc you will follow the tut and it does some weird instructions with CMD (command prompt) and this will randomly make to dumps out of the cex dump you made following tut instructions, then it will show you what to rename them to once complete there will be a CEX and DEX dump (2 files) you will put them on usb and go to rebut toolbox you will then rewright target id in flash (option in the debug toolbox) then once done you will switch LVL2 kernels which is what changed you from cex to dex also note usb must b in ps3 this whole time (right slot) and with the cex and dex dumps on it
