Okay so Stealth-Multiman alone is NOT enough. There are these syscalls called lv1 and lv2 peek/poke which allow a good amount of homebrew installation. The thing is, if your connected to the internet, Sony has a good chance of noticing these functions running unsigned installations. This is just an example of a KNOWN method Sony uses to catch CFW PS3s.

All in all, you will eventually get banned depending on how careful you are, so just try:
1. To use stealth tools (Like Multiman)
2. Avoid signing in when your running apps like Multiman
3. PSNTools v1.0 works nicely
4. PSNinja v4.0 clears homebrew history
5. other anti-ban measures

To get online you need:
1. a working consoleID
(Use PSIDPatch to change it)
