Im currently on Kmeaw 3.55 with QA toggle enabled. I am trying to update to REBUG 4.46.1 Lite Edition.

When I update via the XMB it gets to around 54% but then I get an error saying "Data is corrupted (8002F997)"

How do i fix this so i can update?

I have tried going from 3.55 Kmeaw to Rebug 3.55.2 and that doesnt work either, still get an error. I also tried going from 3.55 Kmeaw to 3.55 OFW nd i still get the error.

The console is QA flagged and i have been trying to update from the XMB.

I still need to try Rogero 4.46. But can you downgrade from Rogero 4.46?

yup...... use rogero downgrade and then use rogero 3.55 CFW

also try from safe/recovery mode

Finally got it to work:

1) I formatted PS3 HDD
2) Used a different USB, also formatted it again
3) Re-downloaded REBUG 4.46.1 (This time checking the MD5 several times when moving file to different locations)

Updated and installed perfectly from the XMB!

I thought you are able to install any firmware with QA enabled?
