Aex is the firmware you use to mod call of dutys with rtm by connecting ps3 to computer to edit your rank and stuff

A:you should be looking for a 3.55 ps3 so you can install custom firmware also you could use a e3 flasher to downgrade your ps3 to 3.55

ok what the other guy sayed sounds like a noob at modding or dont know anything about it just looking for rep.

A: To mod COD you need to either create a patch_mp.ff or use a created one. this goes for COD W@W-Mw2, to mod Mw3 and BO2 you need a program made to mod it and used from your computer aka needing (DEX).

A: If you still have your jailbroken Ps3 3.55 or bellow, you can either data transfer witch is boring but give it a try. Or you can go from 3.55 to 4.xx wicth allows you to get online with your jailbroken system.

A: DEX is basicly switching your sytem to be able to connect ti a computer witch allows you to mod Mw3 and BO2. thats all you really need to know about DEX the rest really dont affect you.
