looked around on ngu,google and some at youtube.. some how i couldnt find any.. or atleast any trustworthy.

There's always Spoofers around, although the wrong ones can brick your Console.
As to the going online part. Yes you can providing you do the right things. But i need to know what CFW you're on so i can do a thorough search for you

ehm, my last message didnt show up lols.
Im running 1.01 rogero. on 4.46 cfw.
Is it better to update to an cfw on 4.50? if so will i be able to change it to dex,cex and stuff later on?

You need to go back to 3.55 to upgrade to DEX. Then go up to 4.50 from there. There are tons on tuts on NextGenUpdate for that

Once you've got back to 3.55 let me know and ill help you from there
You will need the Rogero 999 Downgrader for that. Make sure you have QA Enabled

Enable QA
Download the Rebug QA_Toggle package from here ---> toggle_qa.pkg
Put the "toggle_qa.pkg" on USB and Install it on the PS3.
Run the "Rebug Toggle QA" from XMB, the screen will go Black and you will see HDD Led activity then if all went fine you will hear 2 or 3 Beeps and the PS3 will Restart back to XMB.
If you want to make sure QA flag was set, go to "Network Settings" then apply the following key combo (all at the same time):
should i do this before istalling the pup that gets me down to 3.55?

If that method works for your CFW, then yes
