Just go into recovery mode and click restore ps3 or whatever the option says. It will say *You need to install (version) or newer to play

when i press on 6.system update
it just freezes any idea?

Click rebuilt or reformat. The might work

Buy a E3 card reader and put it into FSM and follow one of the other tuts on the forums
