What is the ProDG Image Capture and how do I use it?

From what I can tell, you need to:
- restart in Debug mode
- upload/mount a disk image to APP_HOME/PS3_GAME (It SHOULD start the game?)

The reason I say this is because of the options in the Debug Settings and that it blackscreens (although still accessible by PRoDG)

I have found out how to use it, it only works for screenshots though... Kind of a bummer
