The firmware is 3.41 which is booted into a 3.55 cfw by using an old jailbreak dongle and power on eject method. The modified 3.41 is spoofed to 3.56 so 3.55 ofw isnt available.
I can intsall package files if needed.
if I try and intsall any stand alone cfw data is corrupt.
WHAT I WANT:
to be able to install 3.55 ofw, and a standalone cfw without having to boot into a unknown 3.55 cfw.

This means that it is not spoofed as it would be different, in this case, 3.56. When you got the console, did the seller say that he downgraded it? What this appears to be is a syscon error and will require you to dehash your console. Don't worry it isn't hard to do.

it reads 3.41 normally. But when jailbreak dongle is inserted it reads 3.55. But in rebug toolbox it does read 3.41, it is a 3.41 modified firmware spoofed to 3.55.
Turk is sure he has a fix, which I will try shortly, thanks for the reply.

His ps3 was acting Dumb Just Install 9.99 downgrader should work most times Only if you on 3.41 or lower
