No, just whenever I go to register my account, or sign in, it says "Internet connection timed out"

Restart your router and try again. Its an internet problem not the custom firmware your using.

I restarted it and got the same thing, I also went to settings and tested my internet connection and it succeeded. But when trying to sign online I get the internet connection timed out..

That's weird. It's definitely something wrong with your internet connection and not your CFW. Try to reset your router, check connections, or try WiFi and Ethernet and see if you can get on PSN.
