(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi i have a ps3 on 4.21 rex converted it to dex successfully, i tried getting it online by installing a spoof that would get me to 4.50 it screwed up and im left with a black screen, if i turn it on all i get is a black screen, i thought it was bricked but then looked on youtube bricked playstations have 5 beeps mine dosent, if i go into safety mode, i cant format it because it just goes to black screen , and if i go to system update, every softwere i try installing i get a error code or its not acceptable, i tried the 999 downgrader nothing, official firmwares nothing! i tried sonys new official update 4.53 still nothing please help! will pay for you help to get it up and running again thank yoU!

I had something like this happen. Mine was that the hdmi settings had reverted back to avi cables. So if you are using hdmi cable try plugging in the avi cables in and going to that channel when you turn on the ps3. Sorry if that's not it.

i tried that man , i was orignally using hdmi now ive got set to avi cables but thank you anyway man!

Put hdd in another ps3 and format then replace in your cfw console.

If your on dex try the 3.55 dex downgrader. The reason the 999 downgrader gives you an error is because it is ment for cex. Also if your on dex you don't need a spoofer to get online

You could also try installing 4.21 d-Rex. Your having problems because your trying to install cex cfw and ofw on a dex system. It won't work you need to install a dex cfw. Here are some dex cfw- 3.55 dex downgrader, all of ita cfws, 4.21 or 4.46 d-Rex, 4.41 unknown. Install anyone of those and you should be fine. I suggest starting with the 3.55 dex downgrader or 4.21 d-Rex
