Hi guys wondering if anyone can help here i need to update my e3 flasher but the 4th light is out its the OB FLASH/microSD and there is no blue lights and i thinkits briked now i was halfway threw an update couple days ago and ps3 over heated got that fixed but now need to sort this out i have the wire soldered to nor tristate to gnd and ps3 stays powered on but no video or audio but cant do nothing as this green light is out and cant update the e3 flasher to get blue lights working i have tryed updating via the usb conetion but nothing happen please say theres a fix for this or ps3 is going out the window

sorry i just notiesed i mustent have clicked reply last time so never replyed but yeah i have iv checked the pin legs aswell its the DYN-001 CECH-2003B Iv even had the heat sicks of and pushed the the clip over the chip and turnt it on at same time but still no 4th green light or any blue lights i think the nand is black its brutill it wont let me flash my nand back i might just bin it now kinda gave up hope
Try it this way so you can have full access to the clip and also this will let you apply pressure when you like.
I would do this:
Turn on the ps3 and then push and hold down the clip. And see if you get the blue lights or all the lights. If you do then you might wanna add something heavy on the clip to push it down. Some people also use g-clamps to do the job.
