I am looking for some advice on how to CFW my PS3. I have 2 PS3s

PS3 Slim CECH 2004A - OFW V4.50 (1TB HD)
and
PS3 Superslim CECH 4003A - OFW V4.50 (120GB HD)

I would like to put Rogero on one of my PS3s, I say Rogero because I heard that is the best one to use, if I am wrong then please do correct me!

All I am wanting the CFW for is so I can access my PS3s hard drive from my PC

can anyone give me advice what I will need to do? There is so much information out there and it can be pretty confusing. I do work in IT Tech support so not a total n00b when it comes to computers, but this will be a first for CFW a games console for me. I guess all I need to know is how do I downgrade the OFW and then update to CFW.. I heard the SuperSlim can't have CFW on it.. is that right?

and you are correct about Super Slims cannot be jailbroken the 2004a can be though.

correct, it is however a somewhat time consuming process and may be difficult

Yup, no way around it. Just practice over and over to get comfortable opening and closing the ps3 up. Practice makes perfect =0)
